Membership: Current membership consists of county public library systems, community colleges, public and private academic colleges and universities, public school districts, municipal public libraries, proprietary schools, research libraries and corporate/special libraries.

Description

Annual Dues

Institutional Membership
  • Open to libraries and information agencies of all types
  • Institutions receive all benefits and services of CFLC
  • All employees of Member Institution can attend CFLC continuing education workshops and training programs at member rates
  • Selected delegate (1 per institution) holds one vote and participates in governance of CFLC
  • Members are eligible to serve on CFLC Board of Directors
  • Can participate in access to OCLC, Internet, Union List, interlibrary lending and borrowing and FirstSearch
  • Receive all CFLC publications and services
 $ 500
Institutional Membership - Enhanced Level
  • Receive all benefits and services enjoyed by full Institutional Members
  • In addition, receive four (4) CFLC workshop credits for use during the fiscal year (excluding SOLINET and other vendor-sponsored programs)
 $ 700

Membership Fees: Annual membership fees are set by vote of the delegates representing each Member Library. All membership applications are reviewed and approved by action of the CFLC Board of Directors which generally meets on the second Tuesday of each month. Once an Application for Membership is accepted by the Board, the Member Library is required to pay the annual membership dues upon receipt of an invoice; dues are generally not prorated over the course of the fiscal year. CFLC's fiscal, operational and membership year runs from October 1 through September 30.
